“Let’s peace together our world.”   Itah Banda, age 8

Please note that due to lack of sufficient interest in this project it has been put on hold; anyone interested in taking part in the project can still write via the contact page. Meanwhile retreats with a similar ethic are available in France via http://www.freedominlove.com/events/retreats/

The New Earth Living and Learning Centre is to be a new visitor centre in the UK where people can come to connect with nature and connect with their own inner nature.  From a wider perspective it becomes apparent that these two are inseparable and that bringing ourselves into harmony with our natural being gives a sense of ease to life and the freedom to live with joy.

A primary objective will be to bring together an exploration of our true self, an understanding of our place in the macrocosm, and insights into the ancient wisdom of allowing universal love and joy to permeate our lives.  In this way we can learn to live our lives in an optimal way for our own happiness, the happiness and welfare of others, and the welfare of the planet as a whole.

The centre will be non-profit and will be run on the gift economy model. An article on the Gift economy model can be found here.

“If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.”

Dalai Lama

In the following video, titled “Only Connect,” Satish Kumar speaks of his own inspiration from nature and our interconnectedness in the totality.

I have found the work of Satish Kumar deeply inspiring, and want to create a space where people can immerse themselves in the experience of the way of being outlined in this video and elsewhere in this website.

“The moment you have in your heart this extraordinary thing called love, and feel the depth, the delight, the ecstacy of it, you will discover that for you the world is transformed.”   Jiddu Krishnamurti
